Using the MidiIllustrator clipboard you can cut, copy and paste notation from one part of the score to another, or even to another score.
These commands are only available:
Once text or notation is selected, it can be cut or copied to the clipboard, and then pasted as many times as desired.
Note: Multiple lyrics cannot copied/pasted, only multiple notes and rests.
Copying/Pasting Large Ranges
For copying/pasting large selections (including multi-track selections), use Power Edit instead.
| Cut | Cuts the current selection of notes or rests from the score, and places them on the clipboard ready for pasting elsewhere in the score, or in another open score. |

| Paste and 'Insert & Paste' | Pastes any selection of notes or rests previously cut or copied
from the score to the clipboard. In order to protect existing score content when using the clipboard, some rules apply to where and how certain copied selections can be pasted into the score. Specifically:
Note: In Power Edit Mode you can also use the Insert & Paste command to automatically create new measures as you paste/insert a copied range. |
